We offer two different camp formats depending on age group: Show-In-A-Week and Write-A-Musical
In Show-In-A-Week (rising 3rd-5th, 6th-8th graders), campers will create their own show in one week, developing characters and a storyline on Day 1, and including songs they already know and love! Teaching Artists will guide them in improv, singing, and choreography workshops to build their show from scratch and present it to friends and family in our space on the last day of camp!
In Write-A-Musical (rising 6th-8th, 8th-12th graders), campers will work with Teaching Artists to create an original musical for their age group that BCT will produce in our 2026-2027 season. Characters, storylines, lyrics, and melodies are devised in camp with a reading of the full draft at the end of the summer for friends and family!
